Smile Who wants ceramic brake pads/"dustless" for E70?* UPDATE: THEY ARE DONE

I am trying to get a group buy for ceramic pads rolling. For E70 owners that are tired of cleaning black soot off your wheels this is a good solution and also prevent pitting from OEM corrosive pad compound dust. The front pads need to be manufactured with the ceramic compound since this type of pad is not available on the market. If you are interested see the post in the Group Buy section. The compound is non-corrosive and will be manufactured by Carbotech Performance Brakes. The compound will be their BOBCAT formulation, however other formulations are available check at Carbotech Performance Brakes. The BOBCAT compound should cut dust by about 70% and will improve braking.

i can say Carbotech makes a good pad. i have used their track compounds on my Z06. i am considering installing the Bobcats on my F-350 next pad change. i have friends that swear by the Bobcats on their tow vehicles.

FYI ya'll the AX (autocross) and XP (track) compounds are probably not a wise choice for street driven vehicles.

You guys should be aware that even if the group buy doesn't go through, the Bobcat (street) compound is available for the E70 now.
