They can put in a critical order, that's what BMW calls an expedited order.

Or cmyX6(not)go

Hopefully your dealer allows visitation rights while your X6 is in the shop, to reduce your withdrawal symptoms -- like uncontrollably stomping your right foot down on anything that even resembles an accelerator pedal. For example, your SAs foot while wearing high heels.

What am I going to do, Funf? I can't shoot the messenger. It's not his fault.

I'm trying really hard not to get pissy. It's hard when I have to stop and wait in line to pay the $8.00 toll everyday. My EZ Pass is mounted on my license plate. No bluetooth, so no talking on the phone while driving. I never did before I had bluetooth so no biggie. I really miss the comfort access. I keep trying to get in and then realize I actually have to dig the key out. Not fun with all the rain lately.

I sure sound like a little spoiled b*tch.

No you don't, you want what you paid for. They should pay your toll charges also. I would ask for a better loaner. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Good luck,

Craig

Details...

Vent tube between intake plenum and bank A valve cover developed a crack. Verified concern ISTA/D tests indicated a mixture fault in bank 1(A) FC29EO SIB 12 05 10 available for this concern. Performed smoke test through the bank 1 intake track. Found small leak from under the intake plenum. Removed the plenum and found crack in the vent pipe between the valve cover and intake charge tube to the turbo inlet. As per FSE replace all the intake related parts.

Thank you, Craig. Me too. I don't know if it's because I got used to the X3 but I swear she's faster. I was just looking through my work orders and the first time the light came on I only had 1,700 miles. They fixed something else. It came on 2 more times; first at 3,700 and again at 4,700. I wonder if I had this issue all along and haven't had full power

I guess it's possible. On my car, they kept re setting the light and it kept coming back on until they finally ordered the part. Then, I drove around for 3 months with a check engine light. It might be you were getting used to the X3? It's hard to say.

I know you got your car back faster when you were driving a loaner. They had me driving my own vehicle with the check engine light on.

Did they pay your toll charges?

Craig
