I would definately replace with the same when the time comes.

I have had the Conti's for a few months now (20s staggered) and I have no complaints. Ride is fine. I have not had any problems in the rain. My Dunlops were done at 14000 miles or so (fronts, rears had some tread left). They are quiet and better over bumps, etc.

I just put the Conti DWS on 20" 214 rims... 2010 x35d. I'm getting a constant note from the tires in the cabin though. It happens from slow speeds up to about 75, then the wind takes over.

Anyone else have this issue with the tires? I bought the rims used, I'm wondering if there is a problem, or if the tires just make this noise.

Anyone else with the DWS have this tone?

Thanks!

I didn't get the contis

went with non run flat Bridgestone Duelers (same tread as the Rfs like on the X5M etc..).

Paid $230 each. The ride is a bit better, but there seems to be an odd small vibration?

They are definitely quieter than the dunlops and the grip is about the same.

Happy motoring,
DRP

I just put DWS on my 20". Only had short drive, but no vibration to 65 mph. No funny noise, actually quieter than my Mich All Season HP 19". I have to drive it more to confirm but the ride actually feels smoother with 20" & DWS than 19" & Mich HP.

Where did you find 20" DWS's for the front? I've been searching all over the place and everyone keeps confirming the national backorder. Can't seem to find any sitting around anywhere?

When I was trying to get them (about a week ago), all online stores that I knew of had them on back-order (tirerack, discounttires, etc). But my Indyshop was able to locate them from one of his suppliers/warehouses. I think if you are set to get DWS for 20", you might want to talk to your indyshop. If you would like, I can give you the contact for mine but I do not know how much good it will do since you seem to be located in NC and I am in VA.

Actually, please do give me the contact. If the tires came from a supplier, maybe I can get that contact and work with a shop down here that uses the same supplier. Thanks for the response.

My indyshop is Auto Repair - Curry's Auto Service of Northern Virginia, I use the Chantilly location. Hope that helps.
