Got my car finally! see pictures of sparkling bronze!

Well guys finally picked her, or him, dont know, up today. Awesome. Lots of smooth power! I love this color! It is rich, metallic, and kinda changes color in different light. It has a pearlescent purple tone to it in some angles. I love the wheels, and love the cinnamon brown interior. All I can say is it is very rich and everything I envisioned. Here are some pictures. In my eye, pictures do not do the color justice. Let me know what you guys think, unless its not good. jk

Thanks everyone, my wife and I picked the color from the pictures on the BMW international website. Never saw it in person, just took a chance, and we love it. It rides fantastic, firm, but not harsh, very quiet, until you mash the throttle, and feels rock solid like a vault. Does not feel heavy, feels just right with the 4.4TT.

anzer, I had a 2007 Audi Q7 SUV, 3.6 premium. It was a very nice car, but underpowered. Maybe the V8 4.2 Q7 would feel closer to the X5 50i, but still not near as much power. This is my first X5, but have had 2 past BMW's and 2 mini coopers, currently I have a 2009 mini cooper S john cooper works convertible, interchange yellow, of which you can kinda see in my driveway.

Ah .. the QE7 as we call them here in Aus ..yes nice, but much bigger presence on the road (that's a nice way of saying they are too big for most) ..the X5 is deceptive ...looks big, but drives more like a car ... I think you're gonna like it ....

Let me know what your computer says re MPG .. I do a lot of suburbia driving with my diesel and its using much more than the sticker says it should (about 50% more) ..so I'm figuring that a jump to 50i probably wont hurt me that much fuel wise as I only do less than 150 miles per week on average ...

also - hows does the acceleration feel from start - any noticable lag / delay?

I feel no lag whatsoever, it is very strong, much stronger than the 4.8. Its fast and smooth. And I have a 2010 Shelby GT500 mustang, with 540 hp, so I know what a fast car is. And yes it drives very carlike, but sits up a little high, which is what I like. I think the Q7 did not feel any much bigger than the X5. A little longer, noticeable on the hood mainly.
