Deal is Done. Now the Wait........2nd X5 Coming Home

Hi All

Well, last week we drove home my wife's "New to her" 04 Estoril 4.8is.

Today I finalized the papers on my 07 Gray 4.8. it is in MA so it will be a bit before it gets here (I hate the wait).

Fully loaded minus running boards and vented seats.

First order of business will be X-Pipe and Magnaflo mufflers . Second...missiles for the HUD

I can't wait. And YES I will drive it with 20's in the snow

those summer tires on 20s?

You better pack a shovel in the trunk. And don't kill anybody.

Maybe that's why you're in the snowbank!

Two big purchases lately. Nice vehicles!

tim you are a brave soul! i'd suggest putting toyo proxes ST IIs on.. great all weather traction.

anyway, the 4.8i looks very nice. But if it were me.. i'd take the wife's 4.8is! haha

Naz

The 4.8is needs tires and those are the ones I was thinking of. When the first set of Toyo TR's came out I had a pair on my 4.6is (these are the 6-7th X5's I have owned) and they rocked.

The ones on the 07 are still in great shape so I will see how they do. As you know it is how you drive in lots of ways.

Hell, Denver is like the Game "Redneck Rampage" sometimes (I know...old game). 4x4 8ft in the air driving 85 in a blizzard. You pass them a mile down and toss them a NRG bar and wish them luck in the ditch.
