Anyone have brushed aluminium trim?

I have seen new ones with it but anyone of the 07-08 vintage have that trim?

I might have mine painted silver for a sportier look.

Pictures????

Nothing changed as far as the trim ... between a 2008 and 2011.

I've got it on my 2009 35d. Like I've said before, it looks really nice. So much better than that horrible old style wood that they offer. The problem with it though is its easy to scratch, so you have to be very careful. Also, for whatever reason, BMW discontinued it on the 35d, but offer it on the 35i and 5.0i ....

If you want it really badly, just buy the trim pieces and replace it, but it will cost you a small fortune.

Even when you are very careful, you get scratches and dings. It looks great though.

There is a 3M brushed aluminum vinyl that you can use to wrap your trim.

Here is an example of a guy on the e46 forums.

3M Brushed Aluminum Di-Noc Vinyl 4'x2' - E46Fanatics
