so it sits quite low, anyone have them and noticed serious rock chips? i'm thinking about installing those...

I have mine covered with PPF, and no issues even over the winter

No problem with mine either. I did have the front kit filmed up. We are in a winter city in Canada with loads of gravel in winter...no issues.

no film protection and I've got no chips, surprisingly. But I only have 20k on my X, mostly local.

Sorry to hijack your thread mate.

I have tow hitch on my X5, do you all think it'd look weird if I just fit the front apron without the rear aero kit? opinion please!

No film protection, no chips either. Only have 25K on mine too.

^^ Wow, some of you guys rack up the miles! I have an '09 with 22k Km so about 12k miles.
