Figured out how to track my X5 after it left Factory...

My sales advisor forward the current update on my car. It listed that the transport was Norfolk Southern and the bill of lading no. I was able to call their customer service number (1-800-635-576) and it gave the current location of the car. As of 5:03pm it has just left Thermal, CA. Only 200 miles left to the VPC. Should have it next week!!!!

Thought I would post in case anyone else was waiting...

Go on ya mate.

CAs are discouraged from giving that out.

I thought that X models were VPCd in Spartanburg, then shipped direct to the dealer?

I think my CA also told me that my car will come to Seattle by train... was yours trucked the entire way?

The voice status check tells me my car is in the paint shop right now, estimated completion today. How long ago did yours finish production? The wait is killing me!

The X's for the west are VPCd in Oxnard and then trucked to the dealer.

It shipped 6/10/11 and got to Los Angeles 6/16/11 at 10pm. No new updates now as I have no way to track it

I spoke to my CA today, she says it takes about 14 days from Spartanburg to the VPC in Oxnard.

In my case, it'll then take another 5-6 days to be trucked to Seattle.
