2008 x5 4.8i extended warranty??? 100 miles left to decide!:0/

Guys, I have less than a 100 miles left to my 50k warranty expiration.
Do I need to get an extended warranty from BMW? Is there a good alternative, recommendations?
Do any of you have a good Indy in the plano/murphy/Richardson/DFW area y'all can recommend??

Much appreciate it.

The easiest decision is a BMW backed warranty. Gold or Platinum. Pretty pricey, so call several sponsors here- a few will sell it to you.

You might find an equivalent warranty elsewhere, and maybe save $1000, but it will be time consuming and you are taking a leap of faith. Feedback from buyers on claims for a $300 window regulator do not translate into $7000 for a tranny, or a BMW dealer spending two days trying to program crap, and you warranty company says 'we dont cover that'.

Then again, find a goo indy, develop a relationship, and take that $4500 you'd spend on the warranty and self insure.

As far as Indys in the northern suburbs near you there is Overseas on Preston Rd in Frisco and I think there is another one at Coit Rd and George Bush Turnpike but I don't recall the name.
