Why is that?

When I hit the Sport button to activate AD in my truck, the suspension is considerably stiffer, or so it feels. It can be harsh on you and your passengers, especially at higher speeds.

If I'm not mistaken, adaptive drive is on all the time (assuming one has it). Pressing the sport button merely activates the stiffer normal setting. I personally stay away from the sport setting and only use it on off ramps, twisty roads, or certain surfaces where a less bouncy ride is prefered.

Correct. AD is on all the time, you just change the dynamic control parameters with the 'sport' setting. |
