Yes, but Jeg has posted his location as Norge (Norway), asked about US State Inspection reminders on his E70, and stated that he is in Canada. What I was actually asking was what his location was, since 'Norge' appears to be false information.

Are we able to reset the service lights without the use of BMW equipment?

In my 2010 it was settable via iDrive.

I have a 2008 and I remember when the service light came on i could not see an area where I could go to reset it. I could go into the service area and see further details such as when I need the next state inspection, now 2011. Instead my dealer did some kind of walk around and charged me $200 to reset the light
