07 4.8 suspension noise Plz help

I have brought my car to the dealership twice for this problem and they have not been any help. My X5(non-sport) makes a clunking noise when I press the brakes. The noise is from the left front and it is more from the momentum of the car going forward as opposed to the brakes being depressed(if you understand what i am saying). So if i just quickly depress the brakes the car rocks forward causing the clunk. With the windows down it is failrly loud. Also has anyone done any DIY suspension work to there e70?

I get a clunk sound at first startup and was told it's just due to the high pressure engine. How many miles?

It could be a worn bushing or other suspension part.

Check to see if the calipers still have all the proper hardware to hold the brake pads in place still properly installed.
