What Option(s) for Paddle Shifters?

OK, I am 90% decided to pursue a used 2011 or 2012 X5 Xdrive35i with these minimum options:

Adaptive Drive
M Sport Package

I test drove a 2011 Xdrive35i that had both Adaptive Drive and the M Sport Package but it did not have paddle shifters. I am not 100% sure I would require paddle shifters, but I think I would rather have them than not.

Thx

Normal driving you won't use the paddle shifters, I drive a lot on the beach as there is no road to the beach house, in soft deep wet beach sand I have to keep the revs up and the X5 moving. then they get used alot.

+1 on M-Sport and AD!

get them, its the only way to make the SNOOZETRONIC transmission bearable unless you have spent your career as the helmsman on a harbor tug!
