Got a 328 with some sort of sport package as loaner. Its actually not bad in Sport +. I thought all BMWs came with parking sensors but not this one. And it has iDrive but no NAV which seems odd. The interior has nice leather and some sort of matte metallic dark red accent on the dash that looks pretty good.

Feels like my ass is going to drag on the ground though.

All in all better then I expected to like a 328.

Also got dropped off (out of loaners) in their shuttle which is a 2013 X535d and whoa was I not impressed. Contour seats are a must! And my leg got hella dirty from those dumb aluminum running boards. It really felt like the dash has shrunk, it seemed bigger in my 08.

One thing I wish that was available in the 08's was the leather wrap dash. Makes such a difference in terms of luxury feel of the interior.

The X5 in other countries doesn't come with electric seats, dual-zone climate automatic, or xenon headlamps. Kind of spoiled in the US.

No, we're spoiled. For all our cars, we pay less and get more. This applies regardless of whether it's BMW, Merc, Ford, GM, etc....but American consumers are a finicky bunch so I'm not out to change the world. I'll have about as much luck as trying to get folks to use the proper units of measure (although props to TDOT for a couple distance signs in km on I-40 )
