DRL LED Lights in lower Grill

Just thought I would show a picture of these.

Please be courteous as I am not asking if you like them or not. That way opinions are not given and "cyber" feelings aren't hurt.

I like them. I know it's Audi/Mercedes/Hamann - ISH....

The fit very well and are pretty bright. Build quality on these were pretty good and the LED light box/resistor was very clear in what each wire did.

It allows for Auto-DIM when headlights come on. DRL only. 100% brightness all the time. 50% with lights on. Turn Signal Wires as well.

I went for the 100% brightness with the FOGs. Coded out any errors already.

I like them. Especially the clean integration into the panels.

There are a few similar styles like these out. Some chrome some not. These match the factory silver pretty well. Also the Control Box is better than most from what I have seen. PM me.

The Angel Eyes are H8 25W Cree bulbs. Not a name brand but brightness is just as good IMHO.

Night shot.. Camera was a point and shoot. Camera seems to be on the purple side Not worth editing.. Lights are actually very white with a small small tint of blue if at all.

Nice Audi/Mercedes/Toyota/Honda/Hyundai !
I wouldn't do it personally, but if you like it, I don't think it looks bad. I read your post on xbimmers as well, one grill is opened for the oil cooler. I wouldn't block it

I'm usually against these LED bars as every manufacturer now does them, but as far as looks it seems to fit the E70 pretty nicely. You tied it into a new switch or does it come on whenever the halos and/or low beams are on?

Blue it took you long enough to reply different strokes for different folks

It's just something to do since I get stuff to try out.

Rh71 wired them to fog light switch. With the euro switch I can run both independently. Unless I can get the switch cheap enough I can live with it. I can also hook into the switch and run both.

Waiting for some more resistors to try out before install the led fog lights.

I understand that Led's are being out in everything but that was inevitable. BMW also sells a led strip for driving lights as well . At least these integrate better.

Led or laser lights in the near future. Lexus or Audi first. Maybe Mercedes. Talk about overkill with leds the rear of an s class.

Yeah the grill for the oil cooler was a concern initially. But several people said its no big deal. Even one of the BMW engineers. Usually they are sticklers for everything non factory. There a few cool ones and some really uptight ones

Now if I can only get the engine partition to come in. How long does it take BMW to replace one? Been backordered for damn near 5 months.
