Dd a replacement of the front arms, because I had some vibrating while breaking around 80km/h.
Then I found out that the vibrating around 120 km/h While breaking was also a problem, so I replaced the lower and top arm, the problem is now solved.

I noticed that the front and lower arms where still OEM 2012, the top arm was replaced in 2019. ( date on the arm)

Another problem I had was a very small cooling leak, the hose from under the OFH to the waterpump was a bit sloppy on the plastic connection (that had its best time to) to the engine , and leaked on the belt. I did a fast fix, butt it will need to replaced soon ( expensive hose 170 euro)

Got a quote from the Indy shop for a fix of the Oilpan gasket, after advice including engine mounts and piston bearings for 2500 euro’s. ( it’s an 13 hour job)

What have you done to your E70 today?

I've been holding off on opg since i bought my e70 it was already weeping at 145k miles. A treatment occasionally woth 2 bottles of at-205 and I'll lose a quart over 6 months vs. weekly.

The repair guide is 105 pages.

If the leak you describe is what i just fixed on mine i replaced the plastic oe part with aluminum and new o-ring. It was $15. You can cut the end off the hose as it's a rare case of just hose clamp.

I did the transmission fluid and pan -- I think it was original fluid (139k miles). Also did front diff and transfer case. Was able to get creative and didn't have to drop the cross member. I haven't driven it yet as I want to do the rear diff tomorrow. I also did the fuel filter while I was down there, but found that it had been done recently as the production date on the old one was 2019.

replaced an alternator. not terrible at $370 for a Valeo brand/oe brand from amazon.

this is at 209k miles. seems to have been the original alternator. Battery icon/charging Lamp came on the way to work. Luckily, made it to work and was able to have it towed home.

At this point, everything except the drivetrain and power steering pump, AC compressor have been replaced in the engine bay.

Next is likely another valve cover gasket. So until then..

AT 205 will let you punt on changing the valve cover gasket for an oil pan gasket. mine was leaking like a silver a year ago and I put in two bottles and it dropped the oil leak 80%.

i’m about to change my oil. I will send in a sample and get a sense of how much the additive affects the chemistry.

wonderful bug with Tampa tax that does the crazy thing you see above and also I can’t edit it because it says the title is too long
