Turned the lights off in my garage and they are bright ! I'll see how they look during the day tomorrow. I never bothered to do this on my 2011 X5 , but I think it's a great touch since I have true LED rings now.

Thanks again for the tips !

I replaced my brake lamp and turn signal bulbs with these http://www.vleds.com/bulb/1156-led/r...56-1-pair.htmland they look great but you will need to code out the hot and cold lamp monitoring or they flicker for a few seconds after starting the car. Otherwise, they worked perfectly on both my 2011 and my current 2013.

Great info,thanks.Just ordered 2 pairs.
I have coded my '12 X5D for a euro emergency lights (2 quick blinks, longer pause) and it will sure look spectacular with LEDs.

got mine installed finally, was super simple once i realized i didn't have to install through the fender well..
i got the white illuminated ones.. so nice, they match my weisslicht v4 LED angel eyes too not to mention the lights before the door handles

once i figure out my camera settings on my phone for taking pic's of lighting i'll post up in the Official Picture Thread

Those look great! The CREE LED technology is the best now and doesnt set off any bulb error lights! Would love to see more pics! We just got some new H8 Angel Eyes and H11 Fogs that are great!

What's the point in replacing it with colored led
It's already behind diffused red glass.
Euro hazards are a must tho
