Electronics failure heat related?
With Melbourne's recent hot weather my E70 4.8 started to show electronics failure message and the air con would come out warm on the driver's side with cold air on the passenger side. Seems to be the computer not coping with this heat because at night when everything has cooled down everything went back to normal. Has anyone experienced similar issue? thanks Patrick |

you are low on freon in your AC.

Agree. I seem to recall reading that as freon drops the AC does odd things with air distribution... you'd think the air would just all get warm, but I recall this from elsewhere.
Take it to an AC shop, if they are good they will check pressures and fill- and if they find low they should add a UV visible tracer and send you on your way. Then NEXT time it has issues, they can look for the leak. GL report back |

Thanks guys, I'll take it down to the aircon guys and have it checked, funny today the aircon would all of a sudden stop foe 2 seconds and come back again.

If you are low on refrigerant, you should also hear a louder than normal hissing sound coming from the vents.
