the ride is almost the exact same as stock. a little nicer in the corners but otherwise not noticeable. the ride is actually MUCH better on the 22" wheels and pirelli tires than the factory 20" and runflat. it felt like i downsized to an 18" wheels after i installed the 22" set. factory sizes were 275/315 rear nd the summer set is 295/335 rear. i love the setup so far and the truck gets alot of compliments and turning necks. this is our family car and my wifes dailly driver. i have a lifted truck for work and an M coupe for weekends with my wife. the x5 is by far the most comfortable riding car we own.

it is all about proportion... a 21" wheel is better suited on a Q7 or 22" on an L405 Range Rover or L494 Range Rover Sport. X5 with sport or m package has a beefy stance from the factory and streamlined silhouette. even with the 21" it looks a bit off the 22" is just overboard but your car, your call.

does it bounce like a pogo stick? typically springs are not paired well with stock shocks and you get a very bouncey ride.

same here... despite owning an X5M i have cars that are for other purposes so lowering an SUV is counterproductive for my application.

Thanks for the numerous bashing posts. Looks like you are more concerned about my car than I am. And no, it doesn't bounce like a pogo stick.

Took my other car out of storage this week. waiting on a new set of wheels that are almost done being made, and hope to have it on the road in a few weeks.

my other "donk" car on 19" wheels.

Lukasz, you've got great taste...period. Beautiful garage too, I saw a glimpse of it in the background. We're gonna need to see the wife next :-)
