Can the reverse camera go full screen?

2011 with CIC Nav and OEM reverse camera. Is there a way to make the reverse camera go full screen? Been looking through the options and can't seem to figure it out... Seems kinda silly to only take up a tiny 4:3 box instead of the entire display...

thx

I don't have the camera in my 2011 X5 35i yet, but will be installing a retro fit system eventually. All I have seen yes they do go full screen.

You may want to turn off the split screen option on your iDrive and see what happens.

tried that... still doesn't go full screen. I have the top view cameras and PDC so those take up a portion of the screen. Would prefer just the camera there...

with the overhead camera view showing, click on the top left icon on the screen, it should toggle it from overhead to full screen.

On the LCI, when you have the car in reverse, on the left side the top icon switches between top and full rear view.

found that icon, but it only toggles between top and rear mode. I'm basically looking for the rearview camera to zoom to fill the whole screen. Is that even possible?

thx

Haven't tried but I would move the iDrive to the right and turn off the split screen.

OR/and, turn off the pdc indicator in the car settings.
