how to flush coolant for 2009 3.5d

Hi, I have a 2009 3.5d. I googled coolant flush procedure but few talking about how to do it for mechanical water pump as this is for 3.5d.
Drain plug is hidden/blocked by the intake air charge which is another pain to get removed first...
People mentioned to pull the coolant hose directly at the bottom of car, but does anyone know where exactly and how the hose looks like?

Thanks

There must be a drain plug at the bottom of the radiator and if you run the car for a few minutes with open plug it should drain more than half of the coolant. If it is original BMW coolant I wouldnt bother to spend hours to try to drain it completely.
