Premium Audio Settings

Can anyone help me with some good settings for the premium audio?

I did search and I only found one set of settings and they don't seem to impress me so far.

Anyone?

I looked though a few posts and used those as a base for mine. Which I think sound pretty good so far.

Treble +2
Bass 0
Balance 0
Fader +2 Front
Surround off!!!

100Hz 0
200Hz -1
500Hz 0
1KHz +2
2KHz -2
5KHz +4
10KHz +6

I see a lot of settings that fade it to rear, but IMO that defeats the front stage imaging. These settings are my starting point, i've only had the x5 for 2 weeks, but 100% better then the previous owners settings.

Let me know what you end up with.

Would it not depend on what source and quality you were listining to, that and some prefer a to improve different frequency ranges, almost seems too subjective..

Sure, but it's a starting point. Most of the starting points I use are from people that have tuned the system to be as flat as possible using white/pink noise. You can adjust from there if you want to distort how it was designed in the studio...
