towing mirror or extensions

Hey guys and girls, just bought a seadoo boat. It's over 8 feet wide and hard as hell to see the next lane when on the highway. Does bmw make mirror extensions? If not any idea on some good universal ones to use that don't look too tacky?

Thanks

K found out some info, called the dealer he had no idea. Finally found an old post, but here is the part number for the E70

RealOEM.com * BMW E70 X5 3.0si Exterior mirror for towing

Made by EMUK and I have sent them an email to see if they have a north american dealer.

If not I am going to try and order directly from the manufacturer so if anyone wants a pair let me know and I'll let you know what I find out.

Interested in seeing what you find. Blue_Dragon probably has one of the only sets in the US. :-P I have not contacted the manufacturer, but did contact a few resellers on eBay.UK. They will not ship to the US at any price. Some sort of agreement with BMW. If you find a US based source, please let me know. I know these are much costlier than other trailering mirrors, but would prefer to stay with BMW accessories when possible. Best of luck.

And yes, you could have found this info with a little search time.

No, the mirror sizes are different on the E70 and E90, so the part that mounts to the mirror is different

Thanks for confirming what I thought. Although I wished they would have fit.
