I was curious what peoples experience/solution is about the unusually fast wear characteristics of the outside edge of the front tire on their X5's. I have the Duelers 20's (oem RFT) that are part of the M Sport Package on a 2012 x35i. The dealer (BMW of Dallas) today suggested "breaking" the wheels and tires and swapping the tires to the other wheels to now have the worn edges on the inside. I realize the Duelers are asymmetrical and unidirectional so it would be goofing up the asymmetrical nature of the tires. He also said he would align and adjust the camber. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. The front tires are lasting about 20k miles based on the outside edges wearing so fast.
The rear tires are wearing perfectly but needing to be replaced shortly.
Thanks
