Time for repairs.

Just made it past the 6 month ownership mark and a Chevy Traverse decided to kiss my a$$. Fortunately the receiver tube lined up perfectly with her front bumper so it only appears I have some cosmetic damage. But I haven't tried to disconnect the receiver from the hitch yet so I don't know if there's a problem with its locking mechanism yet. At least it was an insured driver.

Bet your damn glad you had the receiver on.

I had an impatient driver squeze past me and took a little paint off the corner of my cargo carrier.

I think he may have been oblivious. I noticed a little of my yellow paint on his red bumper as he passed me to do a right turn on red.

Late model mustang. Hell probably be like "who the hell bumped into me while I was parked and didn't leave a note".

Still driving around with this crumple. Between Covid labor shortages, paint department supply shortages, and now virtually no rental car availability it's taking forever to get this fixed. Unbelievable how screwed up things still are.

At the risk of bleeding politics, not unbelievable at all given how our government works. Or doesn't work rather. Both sides of the aisle are bought and paid for and therefore, worthless. /rant

Anywho... hope you get your damage fixed soon though. I can imagine the disappointment when walking around the rear of the X5. Hah, I think I'd reverse park everywhere I went.

Der Adler arrived last with a little crease in the rear bumper and I have been trying ever since to get it in and repaired. Main problem has been the ongoing battle with the rebuilt engine in the E70. Cannot get the stupid thing to drive for more then two weeks without throwing codes. The list of replacement sensors etc. is growing and "Wack A Mole" keeps popping something else out for us to fix.
We went through the rental shortage earlier this year. Had to take whatever they could/would supply. Had to wait for it to come in and they wanted it back ASAP.
