Question about BMW Value Service for BMW X5 M
I have a BMW X5 M (F85). The BMW Value Service program website lists this model along with pricing for various services. However, when attempting to book service for this model, I have been informed by the service advisor that the M model is excluded from this program. I wanted to know if this is true and what other people's experiences have been when trying to get a M model serviced through the BMW Value Service program. Thank you in advance. |

I just saw the ad for this at a local BMW parts department. 3 years of scheduled oil changes for $199. Pretty good deal for my driving habits as I'd save about $500!
The ad didn't indicate any restrictions for M models though.

I have been informed by BMW corporate that the dealers do not have to honor the pricing advertised on the BMW Value Service website.

Our dealership would not honor it for diesels... I'd imagine it would be the same for M models. That's at our dealership specifically, not sure how others would handle it.

It is interesting.
I was trying to get my brakes done and the BMW Value Service has front and back listed for just over $2K, but the dealer was asking for $4500. When I got in touch with BMW corporate, the told me that each dealer is independently owned, but the BMW Value Service website lists "participating dealers". Oh well. Maybe if I can find a corporate BMW store, perhaps that will make a difference. |

Sorry to hear that some BMW dealers are excluding vehicles from the BMW Value Services even though the website lists your vehicle as eligible. I was lucky that my local dealership honored the value service pricing that was listed on the website. They even brought it up before I even asked…when I took my f15 in for a brake service check.
If you live in an area that has multiple BMW dealerships…try the others to see if they will honor the service. Or try a zip code near you where another BMW dealership is within driving distance and perhaps make it a “day” of service…drive there to get the work done.

Thank you for the feedback.
It is re-assuring that some dealers who are listed as participating dealers are honoring the value service pricing. I did try three dealers near me, but only one of the three returned my call. Thanks again! Quote:
