WTB: Rear subframe for E53 3.0 near Austin TX

I keep getting PMs from this post. I don't need a subframe anymore, I've gotten mine repaired.

If you are looking to save money, I’d find an e53 in a nearby pick-n-pull. Otherwise eBay has several rear subframes for sale from seemingly reputable used car parts guys. Seems like they go for $300 to $400. I’d get it in writing that you get your money back if it isn’t straight.

Yeah i’m no stranger to forum shenanigans. Appreciate the input. The ebay ones I saw either from part# or e53 rear subframe, seemed to be above $500 or so - one was in CA but local pickup only.

I’m waiting for my e60 to return before I bring it in. Thought it would be this week. I’ll investigate pick and pulls. seems the easiest is ebay.

An update for people wondering, the guys at my shop are real cool and hooked me up with a “German Welder.” Pretty certain he’s just a welder who works on big rig trucks but skilled. So my y have new tabs welded.

Also bought the bullet and got the 6-piece (8?) lemforder rear suspension kit and poly bushings since this is going to be the only time to do the rest of the rear suspension.

I know I wrote I’m broke but thankfully I had some gigs come through to help me afford it.
