great job. i've noticed that those GM cars seem to have a really good coat of paint on them these days. Like the escalade, denali, and corvette specifically. what do you think?

detailersdomain 10-27-2010 02:41 PM

the vettes are a bit of a pain to work on...but the paint looks good for sure now.

customer told me its held up great.

J.Belknap 10-27-2010 02:50 PM

Phil.... do you find standard black to be the most time-consuming paint color to correct/detail? Just curious.

Vette looks sharp! Good work

detailersdomain 10-27-2010 02:54 PM

yes sir! we did a 2010 A4 recently took wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more time than I quoted. we now have a black paint tax lol.

Fabulous detail work!
That Darth Vader Z06 makes my '02 C5 Vert look like
a girlie car, by comparo...that is a Titz ride and detail, imo.

Nice work Phil Like ALWAYS !! quick question does Daniel from Concierge Motors in Bklyn carry your products too ??

BGM 10-31-2010 11:35 AM

Nice job. Geez, looked the owner had been drying it off with sandpaper.

m5james 10-31-2010 03:01 PM

Ahh, the love and hate relationship with black paint. This is why I turned the white X5 into the roadtrip car vs the black 740iL!

Came out great. I really like seeing the 50/50 splits even when I do it myself. Do you claybar with just tap water? I've always used spray detailer, but if tap water works just as good to help it slide around, that'd be much easier and more affordable.

That must've been one proud owner at pickup...Incredible work as usual Phil
