It's the same; one of my friends have one. They are great; wait til the price comes down though; because it will.

That's what it looks like. I wish someone can post a pic with the phone in.

That looks like the snap in for the T610/T615/T637, which I have. I'd take a photo of it with the phone in it but the X is at the body shop. (Wife bumped someone.) The reason I wonder about the snap in the power connector. Looks like two separate conneectors with a divider in the middle. This is the newewr desktop stand for it, the photo is tough to see. http://www.sonyericsson.com/images/s...500_0_4000.jpg

Where as the 810 has no divider. Here's a flash for the 810. http://www.sonyericsson.com/images/s...500_0_4000.jpg

The charger for the K750/D750/W800/W810/Z520 are all the same. I'll take a picture of it later. My girlfriend and I have the K750/W800. My friend owns a cell phone store and he has them all.

Hello,
today i visit a se service point. they can't downgrade the firmware. But after this non-succesfull test all data was lost (GRR). So i spend my afternoon configuring my phone.
Some additional informations:
When i receive a call and the phone is outside the snap in adapter everything works fine. I can speek and heare using the car loudspeaking system. When i try to call someone and the phone is outside it doesn't work (curious). Probably it's because of the bluetooth options inside the K750i. Incoming phone calls can be directet (Bluetooth -> Freetalk devices) to handy or external devices (car). I sent incomming calls to the car radio system. Outgoing calls doesn't have this option.
Now I'm depressed

Yes, I know how you feel. I came to the same conclusion as you. I could receive calls fine through the BMW system ... but when I made a call, the sound only came through the phone, and not the BMW system. If you try and manually transfer the sound to the BMW system, when a call is in progress, the phone seems to lock up .....

Which Firmware is the W800i having?
In my opinion everything depends on the firmware version. And K750i and W800i seems to be on the same hardware. On several forums it's described how to "upgrade" K750i to W800i (see http://www.davinciteam.com/ and other related sites searching for K750i and firmware). The newest firmware seems not to work correctly.
What do you mean with your martin System. Is this compatible with the bmw snap in system or is this system a "free cabled" hardware?
Are you sure that your awaiting system will work. Did you have any experience.
I buy a expensive radio & nav system, a new handy and a correct snap in. This money might have been better investet in an other system.

Please be aware there are 2 BMW Bluetooth systems. The Bluetooth/Assist Combo unit, and the Bluetooth only system.

I had problems with the Bluetooth/Assist TCU working with the W810i

The System Martin sells is the Bluetooth only system. Early reports show that this system seems to work OK with the w810i and w800

It will not make any difference if the phone is in the cradle ("snap in system") or not ("free cabled") with respect to the Bluetooth compatibility. The cradle is only for handset power and antenna signal.
