On my X5 ('06) without Navigation, I noticed there is an option on the radio to display signal strength bars when paired via bluetooth. Normally, nothing at all displays when using my somewhat new (~6 month old) and relatively pricey Nokia 8801. I happenned to try pairing my wife's somewhat old (~several years old) and originally "free" Siemens S56 and the bars show up!
These types of things mildly irritate me... so unless there's a fix (i.e., phone firmware?), I may sell the phone on e-Bay and switch to a company-paid Verizon Razr V3c (i.e., my current t-mobile bill is paid by my company, but I must submit an expense report... so switching to Verizon would mean never seeing a bill again or submitting an expense report, as it is centrally billed). Certainly, this is not a big problem by any measure... and does it really matter if I can see the bars? Call it a personality quirk, but since's it's possible, I'd like to see the bars
So the million dollar question: Will I see the signal strength bars if I switch to the Razr V3c?
And how is the sound quality on bluetooth with the Razr?
