Used TCU Works, Locks Don't

So I purchased a used TCU off of Ebay. Came out of an 07 Z4. Plugged it in, bluetooth paired using the code and it works great. Phone book loaded, all buttons work. The only problem is that my central locking from the key is inoperative. Do I need the dealer to recode the TCU to match my vehicle's VIN? Anyone know if it is something else? The keyless entry worked fine until I removed the old TCU.

Did you try disconnecting the TCU? Did that restore the lock function?

I added a new one to mine and didn't have to do any coding....and didn't have any lock issues.

The remote locking function went away last weekend when I disconnected the original TCU. I just tried to disconnect and reconnect the new TCU with no luck. I tried to put the original TCU back in to see if the keyless entry would work again and it would not.

Yes, fuses occurred to me too. I did the key reset procedure thingy and everything works fine now. Thanks all!
