TV free over OBDII?

HI,

I have found a site for make TV free over the OBDII connector.

KLICK

I have called the customer, he wants 2500€ for the OBDII system.
But this is to much for me - did anybody know, where I could get the system for a better price?

Simply plug it in and you're complete! We ship to Germany as well as the rest of the world.

HI,

thanks for your response, I know this module.
It works fine.
But programming the tv free function over OBDII could be very nice, because I change the company car every six months.

Theres another package called 'BMW Scanner' which can turn the TV free function on, have a search on ebay for the interfaces but make sure you look at version 1.3.6 ones and not earlier. They are nearly as cheap as that TV in motion lead plus you can do all kinds of other things like reset airbag lights etc.

HI,

thanks for your answer.
I have found a BMW scanner with version 1.3.6 at ebay german.
But there is only write, that the scanner is compatible with bmw E39, E49, E53 etc.

But what is with the new models like E60?

Did you have more information for the tv on function?
Is it simple to do?

there is no software available for e60/65 etc MOST bus cars. Only I-bus cars. you can however get a plug n play video in motion adapter for MOST bus cars.

My NavCoder v2 has TV-In-Motion (TV Free) capability for I-Bus cars.

It re-programs the TV tuner. You can always program it back to standard too.
