Thumbs up Down and disappointed? Call on BSW!!!

I recently ordered a pair of upgrade tweeters and front midbass speakers from BSW for my X5. This was my wife's Easter present for me.

For economical reasons, I had it shipped to a friend in Alameda, CA who volunteered to bring it here (Philippines).

My buddy arrived last week and gave me the FEDEX box from BSW. I excitedly pulled out the tweeters and marveled at how it seemed so easy to install as claimed by BSW. My excitement was short lived however, when I saw that the front speakers were a pair of midrange. In short I was soooo disapppointed (title of my controversial earlier post).

It was a weekend and there was no way I could get hold of BSW. It was a long agonizing weekend. I was thinking, "How will send it back to the U.S.?
How much will this cost? Maybe I shouldnt have ordered"

Comes today, a Tuesday (Monday in the U.S.) I wake up at 5am to try to catch the online chat of BSW. Within seconds, their customer rep Paul picks up the chat line. I tell him my predicament and he gets details of my order.

Shortly after, he tells me in so many words that they acknowledge their error and I get to keep the wrong item and that the midrange that I wanted will be shipped at my doorstep at no cost to me! I couldnt believe what I was reading.

BSW, you're the best! You made my day!!!! You just can't imagine how happy I am. My father is a former Director of one the local BMW dealers here and I frequent the place. I can't wait to tell the folks over there of this truly great experience. It's what we call in the service industry...a magic moment.

Thanks again BSW!

P.S.

Why not get a distributor in this part of the world?
