Nav crashed after update

Hi all,

Previously updated my Mk4 Nav in my mini to V32 and to change the spash screen following the guide on here, decided I fancied changing the spash screen again so made a new CD changed the files etc and put it in the drive to update, at which point I stupidly closed the door to the car, now im not sure if it was closing the door or if it was a bad disk but the screen froze and the update never started so I was forced to switch everything off after leaving it for 20 minutes. The CD would not eject so I took it out manually and tried putting the maps disk back in but the screen just remains blank and the disk will still not eject.

Is there any way of recovering the system? Or is it dead?

Any help will be appreciated, if I can't get it working again I was considering taking the lit out and just fitting a tablet in its place

Cheers

Craig
