That is not GPS calibration, it's navigation volume minimum adjustment. Have you also lost Select-button functions? Maybe you should try these instructions: http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/n...s-upgrade.html

TP volume stands for Traffic Patrol Volume. Since this feature is a radio volume INPUT control that uses the same inputs as NAV, it actually increase the nav audio volume. To set the advanced features including TP volume see this post http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/154948
No Calibration is needed in the X5. The X5 never came with MKI (to my knowledge) which had a "calibration" feature. Navigation Calibration is detailed in this document from BMW, page 35 http://www.bimmerboard.com/members/j...g%20manual.pdf Martin www.bimmernav.com |

So I was wondering is there a way to re-calibrate or diagnose the gyro and/or wheel sensors (though the give a reading in the service menu). Thank in advance, RSZ

You can see if the sensors are functioning by entering the Navigation Service Mode http://www.bimmernav.com/advanced.htm
Sensors are located under Sensor Check Martin |
