Smile Interim solution for BMW splash screen with v26.09A

For anyone who wants to get the BMW Logo back here's the instructions...

1. Set the Map view to Perspective as available from loading v26.09A
2. Reload original v26 NavOS
3. After system reboots you get back the BMW Logo and version reverts back to v26 on settings menu.

Downside to doing this...
- Perspective option is no longer available from Map view options but you'll still be in perspective mode until you change the Map position option, so to keep perspective view never change it again... unless a better solution is available
- in any case a different Map view is selected just reload v26.09A to get the Perspective view back.

This is what I have done until a more solid solution is discovered/implemented.

Thanks Eugene, I agree that is a solution. Personally, I can live with the "T26-09A" splash screen for now. I've determined that I like the "pointing north" mode for around town driving, and the "Perspective" mode for highway driving. So I need the ability to change things up on the fly.

I'm also keeping the faith that the wizards working in the labs will find a solution that allows us to insert our own splash screen. I'm drooling over this one

Yes Jeff I agree, I have my fingers crossed as well for experts to unlock the mystery.

But in the mean time for anyone with worries about warranty and service issues they can revert back to v26 w/out worries and still have the perspective view as long as it's kept that way.
