Just Ordered an X3: Will it have NAV OS V27??

I've seen the posts re the newly released NAV OS V27...is this the latest verson? And, is there any way i can find out if my newly ordered X3 (for a mid June Delivery, beiing built now) will come with this operating system "stock"? I ordered a NAV system, but will BMW use the latest OS available, as a matter of course, or is this an upgrade that can only be done after the fact?

Thanks all...

It should come with that release. When you take delivery, look in the nav SETTINGS screen and see if the version in the top right corner says 4-1/70. If it's lower then that then have the dealer update you to V27 before signing the paperwork.

thanks a lot UCREW....i guess i can just turn on the NAV and when it powers up, it will show that info?

Also....i see the Red Wings/UMICH logos....I am from Detroit (shame about this year) and attended UMICH, but now live out of state.

Go Blue...and Go Pistons.
Looks like Yzerman has worn the captain's "C" for the last time....

Yes, when the nav screen is turned on, go to the MENU and then to SETTINGS and it will show you the version in the top right corner.

As for Stevie Y, I'm not convinced yet that we've seen the last of him - http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll...605130320/1128

thanks UCREW.
I hope you're right about Stevie Y....by rights, the guy should barely be able to walk, let alone skate with best of the best.

It's Babock (and, i hate to say it, Legace) that out to "retire" (or, at least, leave Detroit on the first plane out of Metro)
