Anyone seen with MKIV and BM53 radio show AM station as AMA?

I don't know if this is a feature but my AM radio station shows up as AMA on the 16:9 NAV screen (running V27.1 NAV OS),

eg.
AMA 670 (instead of AM 670)

The FM stations show up fine.

Weird.

On the BM54 (Euro version) there are two sets for each wave band, i.e. AM/AMA, FM/FMA, LW/LWA etc. You toggle between them by pressing the AM/FM buttons again.

When on AM you get a list of presets, when on AMA you don't. It's the same for FM and FMA, but with RDS on FMA you get a list of all recievable stations, not quite sure what AMA is all about, maybe they thought RDS may come to AM?

AMA (and FMA) is AM (and FM) Automatic, where the radio selects automatically the 6 most powerfull frequencies. It's not directly related to RDS (RDS just helps select the 6 more powerfull FM channels more quickly).
