If it's the original battery, then you're long overdue for a change and lucky it lasted this long.

I just bought this car from another guy, he told me the battery was just replaced, because the ar died on him the week before he sold to me twice...he also had in dealer...

do you think it can be the alarm draining my power? or what can be staying on, or should i just replace the battery again and maybe not take his work, or is there a way to tell or can the dealer tell what is using electricity while car is OFF..thanks

make sure the dealer is doing a key-off battery draw test. sounds like something in the car is daining the battery over night. Make sure your interior blower fan doesnt stay on after you shu the car off. this is 1 semi common problem area. Beyond that unless you have a meter that measures amperage and a strong electrical background and knowledge of BMW bus systems then unfortunately you are stuck at the mercy of a BMW dealer or a qualified BMW independent shop.
Best of luck,
DT

There has been quite a few articles posted in recent months regarding battery drain issues, possibly coincidental with cold weather. In any regards, do a search on "battery drain" and they'll all surface in the search results.

make sure your car is going to sleep properly - the orange shifter indicator light stays lit for 15min after you exit your car.

At 15min the car goes to sleep (low power mode).

If it's not going to sleep, it's using more power and may cause battery drain
