And it's back...

...hi all, right, so this morning, on my way to work, the MK4 "froze/locked up" again (perhaps I should stop going to work

I've had these lock-ups before, when I was using SW v.29.1 but very rarely, now, after upgrading to SW 31 they seem to happen much more often.

Anyway, after a "reset" the SatNav screen comes back up and I did notice one thing, pressing "set" in the main screen, where you can see what version is installed (4-1/00 in my case) in the top right corner, it says:

Is this normal? Does anyone else have this as well or have I found myself a "dogdy/modified image" that I've burned and put into the MK4?

Thanks

Not normal mate, someone has hacked the navboot file (badly), you need a fresh copy of the OS and burn to a good CD.

Thanks ccfj1!

sight... I was starting to wonder...

well, I found two places with the v.31 SW, both torrents and both seemed to be the same file (96MB .rar)

Any idea where to get the "proper" image from? Perhaps PM?

Your mod to the image looked nice, I think I read somewhere that you did some mod to the sky which looked really cool

Thanks again!

Max, I did not notice any new functions or a faster speed. Maybe there are just some bugs fixed or some.
Have you made a Dutch version yet, Bertus?

Has anyone been able to get this to work? I downloaded it but just get an error message when I load it.

The V31 upgraded worked well for me. I was still running the version installed when my X3 was new: Aug 04.
