Yes, I know that the link you posted is. I was talking about the link that ozione posted, which was why it was his post that I quoted

INFO on 2008-2 EUROPE HIGH - which file? Size? Dual layer? Read on for info...

A little sharing of information:

The 2008-2 EUROPE HIGH (for MK IV navi; E46, X5, prior to 2004 etc.) are all over the net as torrent files. (iDrive users should look for the PRO versions). They include all Western Europe plus a number of Eastern European countries.

( If you are new to torrent-files go to bittorrent.com and learn all about it and get a free piece of software. Then search using google or bitdig.com )

File size for the 2008-2 EUR HIGH varies as some users have overcome the DUAL LAYER issue by deleting some languages from the navigation DVD.

The correct file including all languages (German, English, French, Italian) is 5,2 GB and is titled "NAV_DB_19918". That size WILL require DUAL LAYER DVD as single layer DVD's carry only 4,7GB. DUAL LAYER requires that your navi operative software on the MK IV is updated to version 32 (just made available). Look elsewhere on X5World for how to update the operative software on the MK IV. This is actually quite easy.

(Avoid version 31 as it seems to have some known bugs.)

If you do not care for other languages than English or German, an altered but fully working version including English and German is "only" 4,3 GB and is also titled "NAV_DB_19918". This size works on a standard DVD (DVD +R) and will operate on your MK IV without updating operative system to dual layer support (i.e. ver 32).

So we have two working torrents out there, one is complete, the other smaller in size with only UK and GER, but both maps are working perfectly.

As for burn speed use approx. 5 MB/sec. MagicISO or UltraISO are both perfect software for burning.

Hope the above is useful information, although it should be remembered that maps are copyrighted material.
