You now need to analyse the sequence and determine what command is controlling the windows. Keep analysing and testing until it becomes clear what does what. That's exactly what I do. I cannot offer any more advice without a full log file for analysis, supplied together with a timeframe of what you where doing when eg: prepare the car and NavCoder and a watch and notepad, maybe with a second person. At a certain time, lock the car and close all windows. Note the time you pressed the button initially, and note the time the windows started closing. You need to note the time down to the second. Wait a few minutes for the ibus to stop talking. Then save the log file, and save your notes. Do the same again for unlocking and opening the windows. Then compare notes and logfile, look at what time you noted that you sent the command, what time the windows started closing, and match to the corresponding commands in the log file. Look carefully at the sequence of events. To emulate the Window Closing command, you may need to emulate a sequence of commands - I am not sure as I don't have a log of this. |

And when you are finished, tell me the results and I'll update NavCoder :-)

Cars with LCM_I have no DRL capabilities (CI 14...17) This means cars prior to Sept 1998, I believe Cars with LCM_II onwards can have DRL capabilities (CI18...) But NavCoder only understands LDRL coding up to LCM coding index 30, because DRL was changed in CI31 |

Using the window switches to open windows does not send any control commands over the ibus, it just sends a status update of windows/doors. You need to open the windows with the remote (and NOT with the window switches) - then, the GM should instruct the window module what to do. HOWEVER: we may not see anything... because I think the window module is not connected to the ibus. The remote operates in 2 stages: Stage 1: unlock car Stage 2: open windows (after a few seconds with the button remaining pressed all the time) You need to identify in the log the times when Stage 1 occured (easy) and when Stage 2 occurs (take notes, use stopwatch...) Try again... PS: at least your log files helped somewhat. I have now added message 0x73 to my list of known ibus message types. 0x73 = "Immobiliser status request" :-) Last edited by KiwiJochen; 07-27-2009 at 01:34 AM. |

Hi Jochen, would it be possible to add support for the Intravee II so that we who have them can use it as an I-bus interface, I think that the serial interface speed would need to go up to 115,000 to be able to use it.
I'm happy to test it all for you.

KiwiJochen,
I had this same question on the Intravee II forums. Is there a way to configure the SW? Thanks, Tee |
