okay i'll check it out..do you know if the same disc would work on an '03 M5? Thats the only car i can check it with right now

Yes, should work in '03.... but there could be navi MK4 (and you have MK3, check this first) so the check would not very adequate (MK4 is faster then MK3)..... try to find another MK3
