The BMW antenna is powered (as are all GPS antennas)
You need an antenna with a SMB connector on the cable These are quite common, and quite cheap :-) |

...and prey...afaik, intermittent satellite loss problem is (often) associate with mk's antena connector and not with gps antenna

Many thanks for the information.
Where does the GPS antenna actually live. If the trial replacement one solves the satellite loss problem, where do I have to permanantly position it? PS. Where in Switzwerland do you live? In January this year my wife & I travelled by train through Switzerland & spent a week skiing in StMoritz. We loved the country, the people & the whole experience. |
