16:9 + MK4 + 6 cd changer : No time/sec ???

Hi all.

I have a E46 with the 16:9 and MK4 and a oem 6cd changer.

Now its working fine and all.. but ive always wondered why in earths name can I not view time and seconds when listening to cd? honestly I find that pretty stupid, that a big and expensive screen like that only can display which cd and whick track number?

Are there ANY way to make this work? hack?

Do something?

To summon up: I wanna be able to view time/sec when listening to my cd´s ? a VERY basic feature the very first cd player 20 years ago could display!
