Tv module assistance needed

Ok I plugged the tv mOdule with the white plug only and it worked no navi problem. Only thing is I got some sort of service message now. Any advice??

I don't think US cars ever came with TVs so you wouldn't have the TV antenna amplifier that Euro cars have, ALSO the US digital TV system won't work on the BMW video module. We in the US just had to be different from everyone else. Your video module would only show a menu screen and the OBC info.

roy, i understand that i need to order those parts to have tv that wont show any channels since its all digital now. but this thing works sometimes perfectly (the radio cd tape and obc, tv comes in all fuzz but works) then sometimes the radio bugs out and wont work switches on and off every few seconds with this message pops up.

This uses an adapter cable which I have used on my 750iL. It has been mentioned many times on the bimmerboard nav forum by me and/or brian or others. The P/N ends in 219. I will look for the complete number if your search doesn't find it. The e39 and e53 have different P/Ns.
