Working on my Daughter's car. 3.0l (I don't believe it has 'sport suspension').

New CV axles (and upper control arms).

Saw that the spring on the driver's (left) on the strut was broken at the bottom.

Everyone I look at says 'not for self leveling', not for adaptive drive, etc.

Strut does NOT have any connections on it for the adaptive drive setup. Does have the 3rd row seat.

Can't even find a part number for the spring (hate to just replace that, but if I have to?).

Right apparently was done by a prior owner, but the left looks original.

Anyone know part numbers, etc?

(I tried FCP Euro, ECS, Real OEM, etc. but don't see one listed for the car with self leveling).

Parking Brake Warning

Every few months, I get a Parking Brake Warning flashing on my dashboard. I open the hatch, pull the cable in the left compartment, and it resets.
Came back on today.
Is there anything to do to stop it?

I have this code "4FD0 Position Specification" immediately after starting the engine. I originally thought that I had cooked the electronics so I replace it with the one from the used transmission that I got and get the same error. Since I keep hearing that it has to be coded, I had someone virginize it and code it (took almost two hours) remotely. Start the car and get exactly the same error. The only I didn't replace are the solenoids. Tested resistance and they are all within specs.
I have put about 5 quarts of oil but since it won't go into gear I can finish the filling procedure.
Anyone out there had this happened to them? I just ordered a set of ZF solenoids to replace then anyway but I even took the transmission to a person that builds ZF for modified engines and he said all of the mechanical work was ok. He didn't had a way to check the electronics.
Ideas? I'm getting tired of paying for a rental (two months so far!) since my older BMW is in the middle of an engine rebuild which hasn't been getting attention because of the E70 transmission.
