BSW - MBQ vs Rainbow?
 

Considering a Bavarian Soundwerks Stage 1 upgrade with midranges. There seem to be a few positive comments on the forum re the MB Quartz option - has anyone gone for the Rainbows? Is the sound very different?

I believe the Rainbows sound better.

They both have metal tweeters, though...

You won't find many people yet who have heard either of these with the mids... just came out.

Actually, the Rainbows have silk dome tweeters. I'm a big fan of both brands, but I like the the MB Quarts better in the X5's due to the larger cabin.
