Nav Upgrade - leads to Great MPG numbers?

So I noticed immediately after upgrading my software to the stable V26 with birds-eye view and custom splash screen, that my miles-per-gallon data was looking unusually high (27-28 mpg) I haven't reset them in ages, and they were hovering around 23 mpg for the longest time.

So i hit reset on one of my mpg trackers in the nav and started driving. Well with my normal driving - mix of city/highway - I'm sitting at over 30 mpg. This CANNOT be right. I'm going to do the manual calculation after my next refill to see if somehow my car is miraculously getting great mileage but I HIGHLY doubt that it is.

Has anyone else noticed this problem recently?

More than likely this is because you've now put your nav system into "Euro mode" (which uses yards instead of feet), and as a result, the MPG calculations are now being based upon an Imperial gallon instead of a U.S. gallon. The Imperial gallon is larger, hence the inflated MPG figures.

Wouldn't it be great if we got better MPG after upgrading our Navs?! I might even be willing to pay for that Mod. ;)

OEM's would lock the market if they doubled mpg's!
PS- A good idea to log mileage, as my obc runs consistently 3-4 mpg's too high.
