Angry I hate Black Widow spiders

One thing that you do have to put up with in the Southwest is Black Widow spiders. I just killed this one on my patio. The macro on my old Mavica isn't great, but you can see the hourglass on it's belly. I HATE these little f***ers

Hell yeah...These suckers have been known to kil people from their bites...and what is scarier is that they aren't even the deadliest either ...there is one or two other species that are much much worse...but I forgot what they were called...brown something... And if you ever look at spiders really up close and personal...they are the fugliest things around...almost rivals CJs link about that woman crapping all over herself...

Black Widows are poisonous yes. Can they be deadly, very rare. I think I was bit by one a couple of years ago on my left calf. My whole calf turned black and blue. Healed up in about 2 weeks. The brown one you are talking about is called a Brown Recluse. That is a BAD one. It's poison actually eats the muscle tissue. If you get bit by one, they have to scoop out the flesh at the bite site. KewlX5 or Drex can tell you more about that one.

Man that is crazy. Has AZ tried to exterminate these little bastards? Can you spray your house to keep them out?

It's not just AZ, it's all over the Southwest. I actually saw more in CA than I saw in AZ when I lived here last. Yes, you can spray for them. I had my place sprayed when I moved in. It's time to have it re-sprayed again now obviously. When you live here long enough, it's not that big of a deal. I just hate the look of them.
